The Green Nostalgia
In September 2020 after several months of lockdown I agreed to travel in the mountains with a woman completely unknown to me.
We had to board a van with other strangers to arrive at our destination. We were in the middle of nowhere, with enormous bamboo trees, orange trees, with enormous Monstera plants and ants on the ground with leaves on their backs. The weather was warm and the atmosphere was so peaceful. We were walking along when I noticed a lush bamboo forest. I already had a picture in my head. I undressed my T-shirt and tennis shoes, and told my companion to take some pictures of me.
I decided to name this project, The Green Nostalgia, not because of the colors of the photos, but because in the lockdown that lasted several months I could not be in the place where I am most calm and happy, the forest. The nostalgia of freedom.
