How to Download Songs From Spotify On Mobile And Computer

Are you looking for ways to download your favorite songs from Spotify? You are in the right place. This post explains ways to download songs from Spotify on both mobile and computer. After downloading your favorites from the platform, you will be able to listen to them without an internet connection meaning offline.

As I have mentioned above, this post explains ways to download music on both mobile and computer, so select a device to store the downloaded songs and connect the device with a reliable internet connection. Most importantly, subscribe to Spotify Premium. If you want to choose an individual plan, you can go with the $9.99 monthly plan. A student plan costs $4.99 monthly, and a family plan costs $14.99 monthly (up to six accounts). After all, you can go with the one based on your needs.

Moreover, let’s see the required steps to download songs from a Spotify Premium account.

Downloading songs from Spotify on a computer

Get a Spotify Premium, or if you already have a Premium account, sign in with it on your Mac or PC.

After successfully signing in through your Premium account, choose the playlist you wish to download on your device.

After choosing the playlist you want to download, you have to hit the Download button making the toggle button green. After doing so, the songs’ playlist will start downloading instantly.

Once the downloading gets finished, you can access the songs offline without needing an internet connection. The downloaded playlist will be available in the Playlists section located on the left-hand side of the screen. You will have a green symbol next to the downloaded playlist.

Downloading songs from Spotify on a phone
Open the Spotify app on your mobile phone like iPhone or Android.
You have to log in to your Spotify Premium account.

Find and hit the “Your Library” section from the bottom right corner of the mobile display.
Now you have to choose the playlist that you have to download under the Your Library tab.

After choosing the playlist, you have to hit the Download button, turning the toggle button into the green. In that way, the songs will instantly download to your playlist.
Downloading a podcast on mobile

When you see a podcast, you will also see a three-dot icon located in the screen’s top right corner. If you use an Android phone, three vertical dots will appear. You have to hit on these three dots, and you will be redirected to a new menu. From the new menu, hit on the option called Manage Downloads. Here a download button will appear next to each content. Now you can choose the episode you have to download.
Troubleshooting

Sometimes, you may not be able to download more songs. It happens because of reaching the download limit on a particular device (3,333 songs). If you are not able to download songs because of the limit, you can try deleting some playlists from the library. By deleting some playlists, you create free space to add more songs.
Note that you can’t download music on more than three devices at once. It doesn’t work when you attempt to download on more devices.
