*Salient issue* 
Social media practices relate to people's knowledge, beliefs, and practices while they communicate on digital networks, which might replicate tangible-world cultures or develop new strains of cultural practices native to digital networks. 
By engaging with others and exchanging ideas and perspectives, social media increased and social consciousness in our society. On the other hand, social media has had a detrimental impact on culture. The media users may post whatever they want on social networks, and some of them may contain indecent images. 
In addition, in an online environment, digital identities are the mechanism by which we verify we are who we claim we are. 
The media information we are exposed to alters our perceptions of ourselves and others. The ideals accepted by the media have a significant impact on the users. In consequence, the media provides a plethora of views of what is beautiful, seductive, appealing, and acceptable. 
The creation of an online identity might differ depending on the user's characteristics. If the user feels the need to project a specific image of oneself to others, they will participate in such activity to influence how they are seen.

People use influence for a variety of purposes, some good, some negative, and some in between. Influence is extremely strong, and marketers adore it. 'To create awareness and enlighten influencers about the bias in social media platforms towards them through data collection and sharing.' 
Although the concept of employing various sorts of recognized or famous individuals and personalities under the concept of influencer marketing appears to be directly connected to the highly active growth of social media, its origins are really a few years back.

They publish about that issue on their favorite social media venues on a regular basis, resulting in enormous followings of enthusiastic, engaged individuals who pay careful attention to their opinions. Brands adore social media influencers because they may spark trends and push their followers to purchase the items they advocate. Also, Influencers are frequently regarded as experts in their fields, and they may eventually enhance a campaign's reach and impressions. Because partnering with influencers may increase the effectiveness of your other types of marketing. Indeed, it could improve your website's search engine results and broaden your reach even further. Influencer marketing raises brand recognition, resulting in increased traffic to your website.
