Annual Juried Student Exhibition
While majoring in New Media, I was invited on as a design intern for the department. I created the branding and accompanying graphics for the department-wide student exhibition.
Inspiration
New Media had grown from a small subset of digital art to a diverse range of fields and disciplines. When I was in school, the intro classes expected students to take ideas from each to incorporate different practices into their work. My goal was to create imagery which represented this overlap and interplay between them.
Making it Move
In the interest of going above and beyond the call of duty, I wanted to create an animation to compliment the poster. This video would play on televisions in the lobby of the department in between other ads so I wanted it to loop seamlessly.
I still really enjoy the way it turned out.
