Rapid KL
Rapid KL is is a public transportation system in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and it has Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus. With its coverage throughout Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley areas, connecting to the city center, business districts and popular sites.
In this project, I made a 30 seconds 2D motion video
about RapidKL public transport, how it makes travel around Kuala Lumpur more convenient.
Breakdown
To show the depth of each places or even the structure of the building.
I decided to use paper cut out effect on this project. Using shadow of each shape and
different tone to create depth on each scene.
Different timing on keyframes to reveal the buildings.
Zoom in while the building build up to feature the building.
Using masking and positioning of the shapes to transform into a double decker bus.
Duik Bassel tools to create character rigging.
Using the element from the next layer to do transition,
overlay on top of the current scene.
Zooming in foreground object, zoom out from background to
create dolly zoom effect.
