My goal in this class project was to create a 3-series PSA poster for a chosen social or environmental issue. I chose the water crisis in Africa with the hope to have American's donate money to help the non-profit organization thewaterproject.org. (It's a real non-profit - look them up!)

Without clean water, families stay locked in poverty. Over 200 million hours are spent each day collecting water. Not only does this time take away from other opportunities, the water collected is often dirty and disease ridden. Access to clean water improves education, health, hunger and poverty. One dollar invested equals twelve dollars in economic return. 

I wanted to display the disparity between those countries that lack access to water and those that don't. Posters would be displayed in places where it would be an evident reminder of that difference.
