"Una de Espantos" (A Ghost Tale) is an animated film inspired in Colombian folk tales, a rich oral tradition that has developed for generations and is deeply rooted in the believes of provincial rural cultures. The story is created to bring this legacy to young generations adapting it for a fun and entertaining ride which brings the characters of folk tales from the jungles and forests to the capital city.
This film was awarded first prize at the 2006 Guadalajara Animation Film Festival. It was shown throughout Colombia at the main theatres and cinema complexes of CineColombia between December 2006 and January 2007.
