The Creative Conscience awards welcome projects by students and graduates (up to two years) from any creative discipline. This is an opportunity to push my curiosity and create the change I want to see in the world, tackling an issue of my own choice or work from one of their game-changing briefs.

By entering I will be directly supporting their work as a charity, helping to build a fairer, healthier and more sustainable world.

MY GOAL

The goal is to raise awareness, to change human behavior and reduce racism, but also to stimulate politics to find solutions and help for the Sicilian island of Lampedusa that is left alone by the central government dealing with this phenomenon.

ZINE

My idea is to create a zine about the deadly Mediterranean route from Africa to Italy, featured by news, interviews, data and illustrations. The Zine will be portraying the immigrants' journey, aiming to be an exercise of empathy for the viewer.
