The concept JOYFUL CANVAS is about pure thoughts of a child. Children expresses themselves however they want to. Their thoughts are not tamed and its unfiltered and so is their art and creativity. The concept encourages creativity come to the fore to counter post-pandemic anxieties in little ones. The concept is about art in fashion and joyful expression. Children’s painting is like angel’s handwriting, full of innocence, romance and softness. The dribs and drabs and color blocks explain the simple but wonderful inner world of children. The understanding of color for children is simple, and they pay little attention to the rich and layered grey tones in life. Thus they tend to use color-blocking and original colors with high purity to brighten the picture, creating a rough, sprightly, plain and passionate style. The innocent, childish and rhythmic color is unified with its look. The concept has a very fun, playful vibe to it.

MOOD: PLAYFUL
Inspired by the artworks of Stefan Gunnesch, this is a collage, a symbolic work of art about finding oneself which stimulates the reflection and tracing of one’s own body and thereby identity. Homophobic has been treated as a long term disease in our society. A person doesnot have the freedom to be whoever they want to or be with whomever they choose to. He or she should not be bound by the societal rules but have the freedom to explore one’s desire, one’s own body (sexuality) and partner. Society judges people who does not fall under the so called normal category but one should not be afraid to embrace the new self just in fear of the society. Something has to be fragmented and destroyed before something new can emerge. Every human being is beautiful and the society should accept them as they want to be and with whoever they want to be. The concept of mine depicts new, fresh, rejuvinate, hope, fertility and positivity, beautiful and romance.

MOOD: BLOSSOMY
Jazz came to limelight during the Harlem Renaissance period when African American moved to the Harlem neighbourhood of New York city. African American got credit for their work which hence resulted in the Black Pride Movement. Harlem Nightlight came into being. Art,music, literature, everything bloomed. Jazz music became overly popular attracting thousands of people irrespective of race. Inspired by the artworks of Aaron Douglas, a renowed artist of the Harlem Renaisance period, my theme of the artwork is "Harlem Jazz”
