The Healthy Pets logo project was my first real gig as a designer. Although looking back there are things I wish I did differently, I decided to include this in my portfolio because it was my first major project. After all, it's not every day that a college freshman gets to see her logo go from the mockup store sign to the real deal! This was a highly valuable learning experience for me, and I have grown so much as a designer because of it.
Healthy Pets is a chain of pet supply stores in Utah that sells all natural products while bringing greater awareness to healthier pet nutrition and more planet friendly options. In June of 2020, the company owner hired me to design a new logo for their brand. They wanted the new logo to pay tribute to their previous circular badge design, but with a modern, friendly twist and a fresh color palette.

Pictured above on the left is the previous Healthy Pets logo. We aimed to make the new logo recognizable to Healthy Pets customers through the use of the two paw prints and a similar circular badge logo format.
