This artwork addresses a series of concerns regarding the traumatic journeys of the displaced.
Is a displaced angel one of the many humans that have succumbed to the injustices of this world on their way to finding better life-conditions? Or does it suggest that an actual angel would feel exiled in the face of such harsh realities?
The work leaves us to consider our own place in the current global crisis of migration- knowing that even silence is an active participation in the overall crisis.
