As the name 'Whirling Dervish' reflects a concept of Sufis who dance to their own sound and
tempo, as a designer I find peace in crafting pieces that are a translation of my interests and beliefs and are
free of any fashion prejudice. I am deeply moved by the bohemian way of living, curating less but qualitative
and unique pieces and experiences. The brand is thus, an honest reflection of my journey within 'the self'.

ABOUT THE BRAND
A bohemian luxury brand incorporated in 2019, abstract prints and embroidery lay in its heart.
We believe in crafting cruelty- free products ranging across various kinds of faux- suede bags catering to
different needs, functionality and occasion which will eventually branch out to products like belts, footwear and outerwear.
Each product is hand-crafted with irregularities that instigate a sense of belonging.
The uncut beauty of semi-precious stones, undone finish of brass accessories, child-like nature of hand-done prints,
raw textures of fabric, rustic and earthy tones, scattered placement of the materials, collectively harmonize to
create an eventful series of individualistic and timeless products.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
I am a textile designer who occasionally likes to day dream about offbeat prints, embellishments and empty spaces
that are yet to be renovated. As a student back at my institute NIFT, I have been constantly driven by nature,
architecture, Farsi quotes & script to translate them in abstract forms. During my journey as a designer, I have
indulged in understanding different segments of digital+ block prints, sustainable fabrics, high- end embroideries
and denim while working with various start-ups, export houses and textile mills.
