Harnessed what shouldn't be harmless.
A Mega Man Star Force themed EP born from wanting to be better, not bitter.

Based off a game mechanic from "Mega Man Star Force 3," this EP is my deepest exploration of a harsh futuristic sound palette.
Here's the album art. It showcases Mega Man's Black Ace form (a powered up form granted when enough Noise has been amassed) while hinting to specific elements of the games.
That right there was the promotional video used upon the EP's release. A lot of work went into recreating the aesthetic from the album art and revitalizing it with motion. The grit and glow, man.
The single art for "99.9%" - I thought it'd be cool to use a manga panel and an in-battle screen shot to give listeners their first look at this new era of my music. Also, the Black Ace Mega Man in the back serves to explain the song title's meaning: a foreshadowing of the form that is to come.
The single art for "RYUUSEI PLUG." The juicy, crunchy sprite of Mega Man flying into the star chart practically glows when set over some distorted promotional art for the games.
The single art for "YOU SAID YOU NEED SPACE INTERLUDE." I like that this cover manages to use iMessage screenshots and rough concept art from the development of the games. The warp on the "SPACE" portion proved to be my most inspired moment.
The single art for "BROTHERBAND." The concept of brotherhood is well represented, with a batch of in-game Brothers, the trio of forms from Mega Man Starforce 1 (Pegasus, Leo, Dragon), and our two Mega Men joining forces and dapping up.
The single art for "200.0%." The title is paramount, emphasizing that we are now at our peak. While I wanted to avoid using the Black Ace Mega Man form on the cover arts (besides on "99.9%"), I wanted to show him here colliding against his counterpart, Red Joker Mega Man.
As you may have noticed, the branding has a couple reoccurring elements - the Star emblem being one of them.
You've also got "Mega Man Star Force 3"'s Japanese logotype with slick gradient and a pixelated outline.
And lastly, as with ever major Team Future release, a new version of the logo. Funny enough, in a way, this is only half of the new interpretation, as it's supposed to be combined with the magenta Star emblem. You'll see on this promotional story image coming up.
Had to set it on the manga panels, of course.
These were also available to download as phone wallpapers.
For the release of the EP's single, "99.9%," a promotional story image was posted announcing where it would be available. Notice the use of in-game menu elements.
The lyric teaser story for "99.9%."
The lyric teaser story for "RYUUSEI PLUG."
The lyric teaser story for "YOU SAID YOU NEED SPACE INTERLUDE."
The lyric teaser story for "BROTHERBAND."
The lyric teaser story for "200.0%."
Lastly, we've got the EP's tracklist. More sprites from the game inform the look of the list, while the background serves to draw the connection between Black Ace and Red Joker Mega Man.
Thanks for logging in.
