Savannah Greetings

These are a series of illustrations i created in March 2012. Though i do nto recall the genesis of the idea, I thought these would be great for the Christmas season by melding Candy-cane which is not too common in Kenya, and the animals depicted which are not too common in the Western countries that i have celebrated  Christmas in.

They could be seen as a sort of cultural bridge For a Diplo-brat such as myself.

They are somewhat self explanatory, so not much text to be found, enjoy :)

For the Zebras, there are many interesting ideas that came by when realizing the piece, so i tried a green variant as well, i will soon create nation variants as well. Some flags will of course lend themselves better to the depiction.
Below are a few select cropings that i used for cards and prints. Contact me if you would like any, I will try to activate a Behance shopping cart (or one on my personal website), but cannot say when that will be.
Thank you for checking it out, I truly belive before something can be deemed 'artistic,' someone must view, listen, feel and/or in some other way interact with it, and am so glad to live in a time when this can occure so readily.
