BODONI TYPEFACE POSTER
As part of the Coursera Typography course through CALARTS, I created this poster for the culminating exercise. The assignment was to create a type-only poster about a typeface we selected to learn more about earlier in the course. In this case, I chose Bodoni.
The intent of the project making a poster that leveraged expressive typography. This meant challenging typesetting conventions—hierarchy, composition, meaning-making—and bring that expressive challenge into a piece of graphic design.
Below is my poster, where I intersected the classic nature of the Bodoni type with its contemporary use. Enjoy!
