The Block: A Design Conference
My design conference theme is about the creative block, specifically about the fear of the blank page and trying to escape that block. This conference contains five speakers from various backgrounds talking about that creative block and how they overcome it. I wanted to follow the idea of how daunting and scary being creatively blocked is, but also make it slightly humorous, so I decided to do a horror movie pastiche: I turned the “block” into a monster hunting down this character(the girl) in an illustrative style.
