Noli Me Tangere & El Filibusterismo

The Noli Me Tangere & El Filibusterismo books by Jose Rizal are two of the most influential books in the Philippines. When it was presented that I was to do their covers, I immediately took the challenge.
Since both books revolved around the idea of revolution with heavy themes from the church, I felt I needed for it to have an immediate reference to stained glass -- like a cathedral depicting themes from the bible.
The final output for the two books are montages, presented in a "window" depicting scenes / characters from the books. I was aiming to stir emotions as the reader picks it up, and hopefully it drives its message across.
