Morningstar Data Investments Application
Project Objective: As a user, I would like to be able to create custom funds for my investment clients to invest in while managing fund workflows and data to analyze investment health to provide a best-in-class investment advisory platform for clients.
Target Audience / Personas: Investment advisors creating custom funds for their clients to invest in.
Process: Define user work flows and journeys through site mapping and workflow diagrams, conducting user shadows sessions to define opportunities and pain points in user experience of the current legacy application, and then creating high fidelity UI mockups and prototypes to showcase to users and executive leadership to get buy in.
Result: A clean and intuitive update to a legacy application that makes it easier for investment advisors to build custom funds for their clients to invest in.
