Geekvape Aegis 100W

Geekvape Aegis 100W
Before we started with any of the Briefs, we were told to play around first in the program to learn the basics before starting with anything serious. The objective was to try and model something I like so I decided to model a Geekvape Aegis 100W, the original Aegis. There are a lot more variants now but nothing beat the OG Aegis.

Destroy me – if you can
The Aegis box mod from Geekvape has generated a lot of hype since its release. The Aegis has been built to withstand all kinds of punishment. Geekvape claims it’s military grade 810G-516.6 shockproof, and IP67 waterproof and dust proof. But aside from that, it’s also a good-looking mod. Powered by a single (included) 26650 battery, it also comes with an adapter sleeve for 18650s. It powers up to 100 W, and offers a plethora of options for TC, TCR and wattage curves.

This was my first ever vape, but mine was Yellow, my partner had the Gun Metal/Camo one.

For the atomiser I wanted to use the Mesh 24mm RTA by Vandy Vape. It is the rebuildable tank edition of the original Mesh RDA, integrating a new design overall in the build deck with a creative elongated two-post design with clamp mechanism along with top airflow system.

What is my Idea?
I wanted some Jade Rocks that are balancing next to the vape on a geo pond, looking like it is rippling underneath the floating Aegis. It must look like a "photograph" of the Aegis either falling or rising from the water.

Modelling & Texturing
With this model, I had a chance to play around with the different textures that the Arnold Render Engine uses. The pictures underneath was during the early phase of "experimenting"
