THE GINGERBREAD MAN
In order to avoid the fate of being eaten, a freshly baked
gingerbread man escaped from the oven and ran all the
way, avoiding grandfather and grandmother, pigs, cows ,
horses, and was finally deceived by a cunning fox when
he was crossing the river. Still eaten. Throughout the sto
ry, the gingerbread man has been singing "Run, run, as
fast as you can. You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread
man". So "gingerbread man" is used to describe the kind
of simple and courageous person.
