This is called "Come On In".  I painted this oil painting to go with a song I wrote called "Come On In"  The song is about inviting people to enjoy my art and music.  I am in the process of building my new website, and this is the image I am going to use on the push page.  I have rarely done self portraints so this was a real excercise for me.  Looking at yourself from the outside in rather than the inside out is an interesting experience.  I love Joni Mitchell.  Joni has done several self portraits that I have seen.  She's really inspired me!!!
