IMPRINT OF A FORGOTTEN BODY
Looking around what is daily ignored and taking time to know those other realities while I register, return and try giving a voice to that forgotten entity (object, subject or space). "There were occasions where a coffee, a greeting or sitting to draw, let me approach those memories hidden under the skin of those wagons in a less voyeuristic way.
Wagon is not just the old and cluttered junk which the mayor’s office and some of the citizens want to throw away. Handcart is and implies much more realities which it looks for make visible through the photographs.
In addition Wagon is:
Sustenance of several families in some cases. House; "this is my bed, I sleep here when I cannot enter the asylum of the Mayor’s office"; Vehicle, "it is called tricycle", it was the only way of his mobilization besides crutches; Sustainability, "I do it with care, for the environment under the care of the Virgin of Guadalupe".
The most honorable option, Sofia had broken out from her house due to mistreatment at a very young age, barely had the opportunity to work with the wagon... she stopped stealing; One more limb/part of the person, "it is called Tresoro for my three children" appropriate, full of amulets.
And memories under the skin, full of ignored imprints
... captured by another imprint that looks for evoking that other ignored one.
