This painting is called "You Are Loved"  It goes with a song I wrote to my children.  Rather than paint my children, I felt called to paint them as godfish.  I am a huge lover of creatures great and small, and am facinated with the symbolism, signs, and meanings given to nature through out the ages.  A totem is a natural object or animal believed by a particular society to have spiritual significance and adopted by it as an emblem.  The goldfish totem means prosperity and goodluck, so it thrilled me that I felt called to paint the goldfishes as that is exactly what I want for them!!!  I am in the process of recodsing the song now.
