Create poster and flyer for a workshop on "Liberalism and Pluralism" on 31 May 2011 at the Centre for Advanced Study in Bioethics (University of Münster).

Modern liberal societies are coined by a pluralism of different and sometimes incompatible value perceptions among their citizens and communities. The formulation of social rules and norms, therefore, is faced with the problem of how the general assertion can be justified towards to the members of the society in the face of an irreducible pluralism of values.

A playboard combining the games Chess, Checkers, Monopoly and Mensch ärgere dich nicht (german game) was constructed using Inkscape. The according meeples were place on a piece of plywood. Two photos were taken of this scene (natural backlight, flash, tripod, remote shutter): one with meeples as described above and one without them. Medium retouching in Photoshop with several layers, including the pespective distorted playboard design.
