The Malaysia National Band Competition (NATCOMP) is Malaysia’s Premier Band
Competition that showcases best of the best bands in Malaysia for the coveted National
Champion. The Malaysian Band Association in partnership with Ministry of Education
Malaysia and ZI Production Sdn Bhd will be on a national mission in search of the top 8 bands
from the Minister of Education trophy division and top 5 bands from the President of
Malaysian Band Association trophy division in the country to compete at the National Finals
on 7 July 2012 in Kuala Lumpur.
Themed Unity in Harmony, the NATCOMP is aimed at propagating national unity in the
country through music and marching band related activities. The NATCOMP 2012 which now
runs in its 18th Edition will be divided into two main events as follows:
• Preliminary Zone for each Regions
• National Finals
