From sketchbook to computer, the goal of this project was to design a typeface inspired by environmental typography in Harrisonburg, VA. Starting from hand- drawn letters, the typeface eventually expanded to a full alphabet using Glyphs. Chutes and Ladders is a modern typeface that was inspired by the retro and industrial typography. This typeface has a unique personality, combining both elegance, strength, and fun.
