Artbarn International is a contemporary creative projects space. Our goal is to serve as a catalyst in the creation of significant new works as well as collaborate with the community to expand public/private interest and understanding of contemporary art, design, architecture, communication, culture and creativity. The aim is to showcase a full spectrum of emerging and established creators of regional, national, and international stature who work in a variety of styles and mediums.

We are exploring a new form of creative company. A layering of creative projects, space, talent and communications driven by new technology.

Artbarn installed and hosted Pecha Kucha Nights on Salt Spring Island, BC. PechaKucha (Japanese for “chit chat”) is the world’s fastest-growing storytelling platform, used by millions around the globe.

Artbarn also promoted and produced various other events. Namely ‘The Even Cheaper Show’ where artists promoted their work for $199.99. And a kabaret show on the Day of the Dead called ‘Nuit Noire’ - a vaudeville night of storytelling, fashion, poetry and film.
