reckoning.
This piece was my first experience with oil paints (2019). I wanted to use realism to draw the viewer's attention on the expression and the emotion the subject is going through. I tried to create this piece with an unsaid mystery and leave it to the viewer to have their own interpretation.
As the person looks from a small peephole of torn paper, it is a contrast between two worlds: one that he is familiar with that lies behind and the other one that he is looking into.
