For this project I redesigned an old country western album. I really wanted my album designs to have a western feel to them, so I went with a typeface that used heavy serifs. I also used imagery that had a distinctively western or American theme. Stars were an important part of my designs because my album featured “star” country western artists. I also wanted my albums to look older. I did this mostly through the circle labels, which I kept minimum designs for. But for both my albums I wanted you to be able to look at them and instantly recognize them as country albums.
