Here I inspired from style of graphic artist "mark Rise". Take a closer look

glasses or no glasses?

I used "Zip up" color palette and lots of red. Tweaked some 'saturation' and 'brightness' (in HSB) for different shades of a colour.

Idea is to create everything with default basic shapes available inside of Adobe illustrator with minimal use of pen tool. I used shape builder tool a lot, it is so refreshing and fun to use it. Shapes are created by either dividing or uniting two (or more) basic shapes.
