SAND PLANT - A CINEMATIC FPV DRONE FILM

STORY

I discovered this old sand plant by chance on Google Maps. The video is about FPV drones. FPV stands for "first persion view". These are small self-built racing drones that can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h. In addition, you can see what the drone sees with a kind of VR glasses live with a very low latency. This ensures that you can fly the drones with a lot of practice even through very small obstacles.

These drones are increasingly used at sporting events and events to track fast objects or to capture footage that can’t be reached with normal drones. Sand is a particularly good training ground, as crashing is normal in this sport.

I want to show you with this video what it means for us to fly FPV.
How much adrenaline we feel and what it takes to prepare.

EQUIPMENTS

All footages produced with a Nikon D7500 with the DJI Ronin M Gimbal.
The FPV drone is a custom build 5 zoll 6s.
Post Production

I used Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, color correction, grading and SFX.
Adobe Audition was used for mixing the sound score.
THANK YOU FOR
YOUR ATTENTION
Cheers
