If your home was a museum, which items would you display or archive? What story will they tell of you as a person and your life journey? During this stay-home period, we showcased the treasured objects belonging to three collectors in a special video series for Singapore HeritageFest 2021.

It was the first solo pitch I won as a freelancer, as part of an open call to creatives for the Digimuse programme by the National Heritage Board (NHB). Collaborating with two very talented art creatives, I wanted to eschew the typical ad format, shifting the narrative to stories of real, everyday individuals, giving power to them in a virtual “people’s museum”.

Fun fact: I juggled multiple roles as suit/PM/writer/traffic/producer/CD for this project. It was utterly nerve-racking but rewarding!

The 'Home Museum' concept was well received and NHB decided to run it again for 2022, featuring a new line-up of collectors.
