Beards for Bikes Summer Style was a unique opportunity for me because it was a competition against everyone in the Graphic Communications class at Tristar Career Compact. We were tasked to make a poster, social media ad, and a T-shirt design. They requested that we tie in beards, bikes, and summer which was hard at first. I decided to go with this design because I felt like it was a good tie in to make the bike a pair of glasses or eyes and then a simple beard outline. They wanted a design for a T-shirt or hoodie that is a light color so I chose to stick with the brighter colors for my mock up. I did not win the competition but I was fun to experience how fast we have to switch projects since we were in the middle of a project when this was introduced with a tight deadline of 3 days. This was worry some at first since we only have 3 hours a day to work on our projects.
