Connect with mentors
Juicebox is a mobile application which allows Year 10 students to be paired with a mentor, who may be a uni student, industry figure or employee. Students are able to discuss about their academic life or careers with the mentor. There is also features which allows students to explore tertiary courses and jobs in the field.
Empowering
young students
High school is undoubtedly a difficult time, where one common denominator uniting students is how the HSC looms on the minds of every senior student in New South Wales, where subject selection plays a major role in pursuing further education and career paths. For students of low socioeconomic, remote or disadvantaged backgrounds, engagement in having a strong sense of ambition is difficult to achieve due to different environmental and social factors.
Juicebox is designed to provide an accessible platform for students to achieve their full potential.
Designed as part of a 24hr Hackathon, me and my team of fellow university students researched, conceptualised and created an interactive Figma prototype to demonstrate in front of a panel of industry professionals to judge. All the hard work paid off, as we won 1st place!
