This is a personal tattoo design I created. Patina means, “a surface appearance of something grown beautiful, especially with age or use.” As we weather life’s storms, we lose ease and gain depth. This tattoo is a reminder that no matter how many scars and blemishes life gives us, they are beautiful and have purpose.
