塑料與金屬常被冠上冰冷的形容詞，但它們跟竹木材料一樣都是人類發展的日常。因此，《穿串》嘗試將金屬與塑料帶入工藝領域，藉由編織為材料帶入手工的溫度，利用材質各自的特性選擇不同加工方式，以柔軟的珍珠帶為肉，堅硬的金屬棒做骨，創造異材質結合之編織方式。
Plastic and metal are often given the adjectives of coldness; still, they belong to human development as bamboo and wood materials. So "Chu-a-n Chu-a-n" tries to bring metal and plastic into craftsmanship and bring the handicraft temperature into the material by weaving. Different processing methods are specifically selected to match the characteristics of the materials. The soft pearl band is used as the flesh, and the hard metal rod is used as the bone to create a weaving technique by combining two different materials.
嘗試不同直徑的木棒、彈性鋼條、黃銅棒作為支撐骨架。編織方式以水平、垂直兩個面向做試驗，發現垂直編織易旋轉造成結構晃動，因此選擇水平編織加入縮口定型，並搭配易塑形的黃銅棒。而椅墊使用過萊卡、人造兔毛、人棉植絨布，最終選擇帶光澤的絲絨布，以配合整體風格。
I experimented with wooden rods, elastic steel rods, and brass rods of different diameters as the support frame. The weaving technique was tested on two sides of horizontal and vertical weaving and found out that the vertical weaving is easy to rotate and causes the structure to shake. Therefore, I chose flat weaving and added necking to the shape to match a well-shaped brass rod. The chair cushion has used Lycra, artificial rabbit fur, and rayon flocking, and finally chose a glossy velvet to match the overall style.
