Air Force Acquisition Recruitment

The US Air Force hires a large civilian workforce to manage acquisition of weapon systems, aircraft and other necessities for mission success. Acquisition is made up of five Centers of Excellence (after a recent reorg), but are part of the same umbrella organization. My agency built the "gateway" portal to discuss all AF Acquisition careers, and branded each individual Center. This is the responsive "gateway" site. Samples of individual Center sites and concepts below.
The site features a different background image each time you visit, to highlight the breadth of platforms these careers impact.
The first Center site to go live was for the Space & Missile Systems Center -- asking candidates to come be part of something big. The site's structure follows that of the gateway, featuring the same UX, top navigation and footer, but still allowing for unique branding within the main site space.
The Nuclear Weapons Center has an incredibly important mission -- but is suffering low recruitment and retention. This branding is working to elevate the status of these critical employees.
The Life Cycle Management Center represents a revolution in Air Force acquisition, bringing a lot of different groups together as one Center of Excellence. And it represents an unparalleled opportunity for candidates -- because they can work on projects from cradle to grave, and touch many different platforms in the span of their careers. This Center has a complex story to tell, but this brand does it elegantly.
