I was given this brief as a task in my university studies in order to help me improve upon my typographical and print based abilities.

The Process:
This task's main restriction was for me to only be allowed to use text.
The exercise consisted of me proofing large amounts of text, fixing many spelling mistakes, proofing information to ensure accuracy and cutting unnecessary information where is appropriate to provide consistency & clarity.
The Brief:
" The British Library want to raise awareness of their extended services through a bold an eye catching information based poster (no images are allowed), to be distributed and displayed within the libraries of Manchester."
Rules:
1.        Three Colours Only - CMYK
2.        Two fonts families max
3.        Limit font sizes
4.        Use hierarchy of information to create order
5.        Use Grid or Rule of Thirds & observe margins
6.        Group information by kind
7.        Make appropriate decisions regarding editing content
Proofing:
All work must be proofed (including spelling) inline with the above ready for presentation to your creative director. Work must be press ready using the correct files types.
