DAUNTLESS Glider - UTDL Glider Competition
Dauntless Glider. Modelled from March 5th to March 19th, 2021.
The Dauntless Glider was my entry for the University of Toronto Design League's Spring 2021 Glider Competiton. We were to strictly design it in Fusion 360 to support a 5cm x 5cm x 5cm cube of pin and verify its aerodynamics in Autodesk CFD. A further constraint was the maximum model volume of 1000 mL. Bonus points were awarded for aesthetics, proof it can hold the payload, and how well it was designed in Fusion 360.

My design is a flying wing comprising of the NACA 65 wing equation for the fuselage and MH 61 for the wings.

This is the first aerodynamic object I have ever modeled. I learned much about wing equations, aerodynamics and more about the history of flying wings.
