In addition to the great masters of design, Schoolchair has highly personal inspirations.Ever since we were children, starting from the 1960s, we Italians have always sat on a tubular metal chair whose identity of the designer is unknown.The chair is the T12 of the great masters Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Luigi Caccia Dominioni. This is a strong reference for the project that aims to be an invective for the spectacularization of the figure of the designer and the meaning of today's design.
Schoolchair has its strong point in the simplicity of design and production. The search for the continuity of the lines and the authenticity of the materials were a fundamental point of the concept.
