This is a process of finding the right way to go, and this project really took me a few times to find the right way that I could combine patterns and icons together. 

My dis-likeness to my geometric patterns researches brings me barriers with the geometric design of the project which is the next step. I'm a pretty figurative person and that makes me more good at designs with stories and exist object, instead of shapes and kines which are elements of geometric designs...It turns out I'm not really satisfied with my designs of this step.

After my geometric designs, I decide to go the other direction: Icons. Here's some fun icons I tried at the moment. Some of them turns out working well, and with some improvement on compositions and colors, they are kept till the end of this project.

Although icons patterns excited me with some good results, I know I still need geometric patterns to make a really good composition. Designs on clothes brings me inspirations, though this is still kinda hard, I managed to finish 2 serious geometric pattern designs. As I start with skateboard compositions, they works impressively as backgrounds behinds icons.

Since I find a easier way to go, its just a question of how can I add more fun object into designs. Here are some fun results I got:
