Pombai is an online marketplace for inter-city and regional transportation in Asia.
The Pombai Merchant Interface is the tool used by local bus/train/ferry providers to list their tickets on Pombai.com and check riders in and redeem tickets. A complex UI that is presented in 3 languages (English, Thai, Chinese), that includes many options for listings - reoccurring schedules, trip amenities, etc.
We were able to build out and deploy this tool with remarkable speed. We overcame many development hurdles along the way, and were able to improve the tool with the help of direct feedback from beta users and testers.
The entire site is responsive, allowing merchants to access and edit their inventory from anywhere.
Merchants are able to interact with the site in their own language and in their own currency.
The "Merchant Dashboard" gives merchants a heads up display of the day's departures, recent online sales and the ability to check-in riders for their trip - all in one place.
The "Add Route" interface, used to create new postings.
The manage routes section of the site gives merchants an overview of their current ticket inventory.
