Telecommunication Icons

Three sets of icons created to symbolize a process, timeline, and means of communication in the telecommunicaiton industry. This Design III project helped the Eight Principles of Graphic Design as well as Gestalt Theory sink in, and also become anchors in the design process and later projects.
Board One focuses on a single action within the industry, composing a text message. Steps include composition, transmission, and receiving.
Board Two focuses on the evolution of telephone technology over time. The first icon shows a coreded home telephone, next, an early flip cellular phone is shown, and finally a modern smartphone.
Board Three describes three different methods of transmission in telecoummunication. Personal transmission from a smartphone, regional transmission through a cellular tower, and global transmission through an interstellar satellite.
