The point of this project was to develop the concepts that the reader was to take away from the book. As I was reading this book the main concepts that stood out to me were how she was left alone on an island learning how to survive, and how a dog became her companion. Another Concept I felt was important was how she watched for the dolphins to appear she knew if she saw the dolphins the boat would come back for her to rescue her.
