Google Doodle Women

We are glad to introduce you our big creative collaboration dedicated to the International Women's Day!
Various artists, illustrators and animators united to created 37 Google Doodles, each of which is dedicated to a unique woman who left her mark in history.

is one of the first female surgeons in Russia, a professor of surgery, a participant in the Russian-Japanese and World War I wars, and a poet of the Silver Age. She worked as a factory doctor, defended the rights of workers to a pension, and personally taught nursing to the Russian Empress Alexandra Feodorovna with the Grand duchesses, after which they worked in the infirmary under her leadership. She has devoted her entire life to military field surgery, traumatology, pediatric surgery, and cancer treatment.

was a German automotive pioneer and inventor. She was the business partner and wife of automobile inventor Karl Benz. In doing so, she brought the Benz Patent-Motorwagen worldwide attention and got the company its first sales.

The United States Congress has called her "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement". On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, Parks rejected bus driver James F. Blake's order to vacate a row of four seats in the "colored" section in favor of a white passenger, once the "white" section was filled.

The animation was based on her quote: "Politicians need to be changed as often as diapers, and most importantly, for the same reason ..."  was an actress, inventor, and film producer. She appeared in 30 films and co-invented an early version of frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS). It serves as a basis for such communication technology as Bluetooth, COFDM, Wi-Fi, CDMA, used in some cordless and wireless telephones. Lamarr and Anthell’s invention used a piano roll to change between 88 frequencies and was originally intended to make radio-guided torpedoes harder for enemies to detect or jam.
