The following project is a redesign of three Agatha Christie crime novels. Each book cover design was to suggest the personality and literary theme of its content, with deep research rooted in the development of skills such as type setting and creating a 'series identity'.
The final designs visually brand Agatha Christie novels and provide a strong and dynamic shelf presence for her books. The covers reflect her writing style and personality, in a notebook-like format, while also promoting the idea of a modern day "Sherlock Holmes". With a total of 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections written by Christie, the structure of the final design sticker can be applied to the entire collection to suit each title and theme, whilst providing enough variety in order to differentiate between novels.
