Sometimes a pilot decides to fly at 10,000 feet rather than 20,000 feet. Sometimes the sky decides that today was not a day for fog or clouds. Sometimes I am allowed to experience the majestic beauty of the earth with my own eyes. I had never seen Greenland before. Luckily my flight passed over it in unsual conditions, allowing me to shoot whatever I could from my lofty position.
