International style packaging redesign

“Kumpletuhin ang tamis ng pasko”, Del Monte advertises their product by incorporating this Fiesta fruit cocktail into Filipino’s way of celebrating Christmas. The design of the packaging uses parol, a Filipino’s trademark, to represent Christmas in the Philippines using a star lantern that also forms a picture of a top-view fruit salad. Fiesta consists of these fruits and is seen in the design as pineapple junks for the formation of a star, papaya as a ray of the blinking light, nata de coco, and cherry for embellishments. Fruit salad has always been a part of our salo-salo every Noche Buena as well as parol that is usually hanged on windows, it will always be a part of our culture and even tradition that completes our celebration with loved ones during the Christmas season. The colors of the original packaging, green, yellow, and red is still being used to retain its identity as a Del Monte Fiesta brand which is easy to identify by consumers.
