Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Hope Children’s Home offers foster children with a nurturing environment that supports learning and growth. One life-affirming new initiative launched by Hope Children’s Home (hopechildrenshome.org) is Bundles of Hope, which aims to ensure that society’s most vulnerable individuals, both born and unborn infants, receive protection and support.

The goal of the pioneering program is to provide women facing “crisis” pregnancies with an alternative to the limited choices that they often confront. They typically must select between having and caring for the child, giving them up for adoption, or having an abortion. Among those who have opted for the latter, nearly four-fifths of the women surveyed reported that they would not have chosen abortion, if only they had had a viable alternative.

The “fourth choice” now open to expecting mothers is to temporarily place the baby with the Bundles of Hope program until they are in a situation where they are able to care for the baby at home. This provides women with the necessary time to make life changes and find a positive way forward from seemingly dire situations. In cases where returning a baby to their birth mother is not possible, they can still be placed in a Christian forever home through the process of an at-cost adoption.
