For my DDN-101 course, I created different designs using the five basic design principles: movement, contrast, rhythm, balance, and  proportion. Each principle was heavily focused on and one comp design was made out of the twelve thumbnail drawings for each element. My personal favorite is the rhythm comp drawing. It was interesting to see how basic shapes and movements could be arranged so differently in a creative way. This project was the basic stepping stone into graphic design - once you learn the design principles, you go from there.
